"Weedcutter" Plows - N Scale

Model Description:

Cutting Edge Scale Models is proud to offer accurate ultra-common snow plows printed in durable plastic that represent a style of plows designated as "weedcutter" plows.

 

• Eljin, Joliet & Eastern version features small cutouts on the corners for non-electrified territory. This style is the most common and is used by many railroads. 

• New York & Atlantic version features large angled cutouts on the corners for third-rail and tunnel clearence. 

• Penn Central / Conrail version features large square cutouts in the corners for third rail clearence.

 

Installation Instructions:

1. Before installation, a 12-hour soak in Bestine rubber cement thinner will be required for proper paint adhesion. 

2. After soaking, sand smooth and glue to locomotive pilot with cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue).
